Department Overview
Computer Science is the study of computers and how they are used to solve problems. Students who take courses in the Computer Science department learn about deploying computers, designing networks, securing computers and networks, and developing software applications in a variety of programming languages. Several courses are dual credit/transcripted with Gateway Technical College or prepare students to take an AP exam to receive college credit.

Computer Science Club
Computer Science Club provides a space for students to explore the field of computer science and connect with peers and professionals. Students will have time and resources to work on "pet" projects related to computer science with both peers and teachers. In addition, students will network with professionals in the field through presentations and field trips

Wisconsin High School E-Sports League
Open to all high school students interested in competing against other Wisconsin high schools in an online competition. Students can compete in Overwatch, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros.

*Transcripted Credit courses with Gateway Technical College - Students earn high school credits and college credits at the same time by taking Gateway courses taught by qualified high school teachers, using the same textbooks and materials as Gateway.
